The Learning Café — Engaging the Generations

Marketing Communications

Premise
To develop an identity for a corporate educational product line exploring how to best manage and communicate with the four different generations present in the modern workplace

Process
The theme that people work independently, yet collaboratively, was captured with one of the most significant developments of the 20th century — the visual screen. From grainy silent films to the cathode ray tube and liquid crystal displays, the perceptions of the different generations have been framed by the rounded corners of projection and light.

Product
When using these materials, the user focuses on how moving pictures have shaped the thoughts of Silents, Baby Boomers, Gen Xers and Millennials and the attitudes they bring to work. The resulting identity system with logo, color palettes, templates, and imagery translated to toolkits, presentations, electronic postcards, web sites, videos, and multimedia CD-ROMs.
