The Challenge
A national telecommunications company was targeting the small business market with new line of services. They were an industry leader in the consumer market, but had a minimal market share among business customers. They also developed an enhanced line of products and packages for the business market. The company needed ways to identify the key concerns of small businesses and craft marketing messages to address how theirservices met those needs.
The Strategy
The marketing team called on TsuluWerks to provide insight on how to reach out to the small business community. We identified key regional marketing channels and tactics to target new and growing small businesses with ten or fewer employees. We prepared a feasibility assessment of their offering for the small business market. To support their launch and go to market efforts, we developed creative concepts and integrated marketing campaign options that included advertisements, direct mail, copy, and other tactics.
The Results
The resulting assessment and creative led to new opportunities for the sales team to reach out to small business clients. The group experienced an increase in awareness and subscribers in small business customers to their telecommunications and entertainment service packages.
