TsuluWerks Inc. Earns Top Supplier Honors from Washington Mutual's Supplier Diversity Team
This is the Only Puget Sound Vendor to be Recognized This Year

18 August 2006, Seattle, Washington — TsuluWerks, Inc., a full service marketing firm in Seattle, WA, earned top honors from the supplier diversity team at Washington Mutual Bank (WAMU), along with a $2000 supplier scholarship to attend the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) National Conference in San Diego, CA later this year. TsuluWerks Inc. Chief Creative Strategist and President Tracy Corley is the only WAMU supplier from Washington State to earn recognition in this national vendor recognition program. Two other firms, both with offices in California, were awarded similar scholarships.

The awards and scholarships were granted based on exceptional quality of products and services, competitive value-based pricing, adherence to contractual terms and conditions, commitment to making and sharing continuous improvements, and the ability to transact business using an e-Procurement platform.

"The passion of the TsuluWerks team, along with their outstanding, timely delivery of innovative products and attentive, comprehensive marketing services set them apart," said Kathy Reece, WAMU supplier analyst. "Our trade show booth (produced by TsuluWerks) has attracted other top vendors to work with our team."

The NMSDC National Conference, taking place October 28 through November 1, 2006 in San Diego, CA, attracts corporations, government agencies, and minority-owned firms from across the country, providing a direct link between minority-owned firms and buyers. The NMSDC Network includes a National Office in New York and 39 regional councils across the country. There are 3,500 corporate members throughout the network, including most of America's largest publicly-owned, privately-owned and foreign-owned companies, as well as universities, hospitals and other buying institutions. The conference starts with an opportunity fair and features networking and education opportunities over the course of the four-day event.  More information about the conference can be found at http://www.nmsdc.org/events/conference06.html.

"Washington Mutual has opened doors for our team to network with other corporations and minority-owned businesses," said Corley. "With this scholarship, we will have opportunities to build new, profitable relationships that expand our horizons. We intend to make the most of this event to develop additional opportunities for our team and to support our future work with WAMU," Corley said. "With diversity comes innovation — Washington Mutual understands this. That's why this recognition is so important to a growing firm like ours."
