Tracy Corley honored with Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award
27 September 2007, Seattle, Washington — The Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce today awarded Tracy Corley, president and chief creative strategist of the strategic marketing firm TsuluWerks, Inc., with the 2007 Jeri McDonald Community Service Award, presented by Bank of America and the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce.
The annual award, which recognizes entrepreneurial success and dedicated volunteer service to the chamber and to the broader community, is named for Jeri McDonald, who died in 2001.
"This award carries on Jeri's spirit and energy," says Emmy Jordan, the chamber's vice president for member relations and business development. "Jeri was committed to the chamber, to this community, and to growing her consulting business. Tracy is someone who has all three of those same qualities. She has been intensely engaged with the chamber from the minute she joined. As a reflection of her service to the chamber and her entrepreneurial drive, she was recently appointed to the chamber's board of trustees, a group of 100-plus business and civic leaders that represent the best organizations in our region."
"It is truly an honor to receive this award," says Corley. "Volunteering is fundamental to the professional and personal recipe for life that Jeri and many others in this community so evidently follow. That said, unanticipated recognitions like this one sweeten an already enjoyable experience, and help to fuel future efforts to serve the community."
